Ryan Marenger

Chair

Ryan is in his 12th year on the committee, and is very passionate about the Canada Day celebrations in Cambridge. He has been a Volunteer at this event for over 20 years, in various capacities. In his career, Ryan is a Tire & Wheel Fitment Specialist in the aftermarket automotive world, and active in the club scene as the founder of RAM TRUCKZ LTD & administrator of MOPARS OF KW.

Ryan's free time is on the open road, riding his Vulcan Motorcycle.

Stephanie Garant

Web Admin & Social Media Manager

Owner of SM Marketing & Management, Stephanie specializes in web design, social media, content creation, tech support & more! Stephanie won the Marketing Excellence Award in 2021 & the Spirit of Cambridge Award in 2022 from the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce. This year Stephanie created the Canada Day website, making it easier to navigate & mobile friendly!

This is Christa’s 2nd year with the festival. She is working on some exciting partnerships for 2023 & can't wait to share the news! This year is an enormous year for any business to get involved in this great community festival. The city of Cambridge will also be turning 50 in 2023! What a pivotal year to put your company stamp on the festival! When Christa first arrived in Cambridge a few short years ago, she realized that Cambridge Celebrates Canada Day was just what she was looking for! This Festival has been the key to getting involved in her community.

Rob Schwartzentruber

Entertainment

Rob is in his second year as Entertainment Co-ordinator for Cambridge celebrates Canada Day and has been part of the live music industry throughout Ontario over the last 30 years. His acoustic band had the honour of performing at the Canada Day Celebrations in Cambridge back in 2016, and he is very excited to be on the committee for this year’s celebration. "2022 was a great success and I’m grateful to continue for 2023.. and beyond!" Rob works full time in sales and in his spare time is a vocalist, trained in Bel Canto technique with Brian Vollmer, guitarist, sound engineer, recording engineer, producer and is never far from a guitar or mix console.

Patricia Archambault

Parade

Patricia has been a part of Cambridge Canada Day since 2016. She has over 20 years experience working in event management who enjoys helping out in the community. Heather was born in Cambridge. Being a professional event planner herself, she is always looking for ways to bring her back to her roots while doing what she loves. Enter: Cambridge Canada Day! Although she doesn't live locally anymore, she's thrilled to be part of such an amazing team and event.

Children's Area Coordinator 

The Melissa Francis Team provides consistent effort and care with every client interaction and strives to create lasting relationships. They believe in making a difference in their clients’ lives and within their community. The Melissa Francis Team demonstrates a genuine love and enjoyment of the Waterloo Region, and Cambridge in particular, through their team-oriented community and volunteer work including their commitment as this year’s Children’s Area Coordinator!

Leah Crosby

Diversity Coordinator

Leah is enjoying her first year with the Cambridge Celebrates Canada Day Committee. As a resident of Cambridge for the last 15 years (aka her entire adult life and then some), Leah has always been proud to call this community home. Leah hopes to bring a new lens to this Canada Day Committee that emphasizes our nations acceptance of and steps towards multiculturalism, diversity, accessibility, and reconciliation. Leah is thrilled to work towards making this event more accessible and equitable to attendees.
